Stupid Kid

So last night as I am driving home during our "Winter Weather Warning", which means don't drive anywhere, I was rear ended by a stupid kid that slammed on his brakes. I was behind a car that didn't put on their brakes soon enough to stop for a car that was turning left so as I was coming to a stop the 19 year old kid slammed on his brakes, hit a patch of ice, his car turned sideways and hit my back bumper on my passenger side with his driver's side door and slid into a ditch. Luckly I just came to a stop in the middle of the road. Poor Wanda Honda needs a new bumper, a new taillight, and probably a new side panel. But the worst part about all of this is that my rental car is an f-ing mini van. Yep, today is the worst day of my life because I have to drive a mini van. I thought the man was joking when he asked me if a mini van was ok. I said no. I definitely got bad karma from when I made fun of Rachel for getting a mini van. Sorry Rachel :(

Boo on Tagging

-How long have you and your significant other been together? I figured this out the other day... I think May 26, 2003 - Gooo that's a long time!
-Who eats more? Well lately I'm trying NOT to keep up with him. We can pretty much eat about the same.
-Who said "I love you" first? Um, I think it was James.
-Who is taller? If I'm wearing my hooker boots, we are the same height.
-Who sings better? Neither of us. We are both horrible, horrible singers. But I think I might be worse.
-Who is smarter? I'm the genius. Well he has the better GPA just because I'm lazy.
-Who does the laundry? That would be me. But he irons his own shirts for work, while watching Sports Center
-Who does the dishes? It depends on who has time. But the dishwasher actually washes them. I Love Dishwasher.
-Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I guess if you are looking at the bed from the foot, then me.
-Who pays the bills? I physically pay the bills but we split the money.
-Who mows the lawn? Ha ha, James mowes our "lawn".
-Who cooks dinner? Most of the week we eat by ourselves because the other one isn't home. Then on weekends we eat out and Sunday we take turns.
-Who drives when you are together? Lately we take turns driving Wanda Honda to save on gas money.
-Who is more stubborn? We are both very stubborn.
-Whose parents do you see the most? We'll mine don't live near me but we still don't see his very often.
-Who kissed who first? I think it was mutual.
-Who proposed? Yeah, we haven't gotten that far yet... Not anytime soon!
-Who is more sensitive? James has his moments of being sensitive. Or acting like a little girl.
-Who has more friends? James knows more people, but I think we are about even.
-Who has more siblings? I win if I count my step sisters and brothers, which I do. So I win.
-Who wears the pants? James likes to think he does.
I tag Sara and Mindi.

The Police!!!

This morning at 9:07am I became one of the very lucky to be able to purchase tickets to Sting and The Police in concert at HSBC Arena in Buffalo. It came at a hefty price tag, but anything for Sting. I am so excited that I had to share this wonderful event with everyone. Plus James isn't as excited as I am to be going. But until I can find someone that will actually WANT to go with me, he is the designated asshole. PS I love Sting.

Ode to Tommy Boy

Today at work for Pizza Friday’s we watched the All-American Classic “Tommy Boy” staring David Spade and the late Chris Farley. This movie is truly a work of comedic geniuses. My favorite part of the movie has to be when Tommy is researching problems at the loading dock and he is speaking with RT the loading dock manager. Tommy suggests that the problem with shipping is occurring because they have a 2 day delivery for a shipment going to Columbus. Tommy assumes that it is Columbus, OH, in reality it is Columbus, GA. This is how the conversation goes:
Tommy: RT, I think I know what the problem is. You have this down as a two day-delivery when it’s only going to Columbus. It should be only one day.
RT: You see these two letters next to the city, it’s called a state. It’s not going to Columbus, Ohio, it’s going to Columbus, Georgia. What else do you have for me, Wonder Boy?
Tommy: Well that’s pretty much it.
RT: Hey Tommy, why don’t you go to school for another seven years and study a globe.

Peer Pressure

So I've decided to join all you bloggers out there. I guess it was after Sara told me she had started one I thought to myself that I could do one too. It was peer pressure. James helped me come up with my blog name of "Brooko's Blogo". Yes, he calls me Brooko. After I told him I wanted to start a blog he told me I was a nerd. His reasoning for the "nerd" comment is that I can do "magical" things with the computer. Such as: turn it on, put songs on an ipod, download pictures from our camera, etc. All things only a genius could do. On that note...
